I combined highlights from all the matches that I filmed into one video (which I posted on The Jiu-Jitsu Fighter). Josh and Mike's guard battle was easily three times longer than any of the others! I put that match, and Josh vs Conan, on this video for Josh. It's the least I can do for a fellow ginger! "Only a ginger can call another ginger ginger, so listen to me if you care for your health. For a fellow ginger
Our resident BJJ black belt, Greg, taught Jiu-Jitsu class yesterday, and the focus was on sweeping from butterfly guard. Instead of regular open mat at the end, he had everyone start out in guard with the goal of passing or reversing (preferably with one of the sweeps we worked on), no subs allowed. I didn't participate in the drill (because I'm still easing my injured arm back into the game), and I had told Josh that I would try to get video of him the next time we were both there, so I decided to do some filming.
